demyelinating disease due to papovavirus

  • seen in immunosuppressed hosts:
    • lymphoma
    • leukemia
    • AIDS
    • TB
    • sarcoidosis
    • organ transplant
  • most prominent in pareito-occipital white matter
  • NO contrast enhancement
