Abdominal complications
- exit from peritoneal cavity with growth, through processus vaginalis
to scrotum
- ascites
- CSFoma
- mass effect exhibited on bowel gas pattern with malfunctioning shunt
- lack of movement of shunt tip with positional or temporal change
- bowel obstruction
- perforation of hollow viscus (e.g., bowel or bladder)
