adrenal adenoma

• hyperfunctioning adenoma can cause
  • 1' hyperaldosteronism
  • Cushing syndrome

• nonfunctional adenoma seen in 2-8% of population

• differentiate from metastasis/ other neoplasm
  • MRI: mets bright on T2
  • CT <15 HU on noncontrast or <30 HU on delayed images following contrast(15min-1hr)
