24 hours or less:
- pain
- weakness
- autonomic dysfunction
- sensory loss
- ataxia
Diagnostic considerations:
- Primary or secondary malignancy of epidural space or vertebrae
- Trauma
- Inflammatory process
- Osteoarthritis
