- xray: "ground glass" lesion with sclerotic rim
- may be expansile, predominantly metaphysis to diaphysis
- labs: increased alk phos, o/w normal
- monostotic form
- any bone (ribs, femur, tibia most common)
- diametaphyseal
- polyostotic form
- unilateral predominance
- not familial (except cherubism)
- scalloping, expansion, deformity (Sheperd's crook)
- other forms
