dysmyelinating disease
- rare, sporadic
- usually presents in 1st year
- megalencephaly: gradual enlargement of head
- retardation, convulsion, spasticity
CT findings:
- decreased density of white matter
- frontal lobe predominance
- +/- dilated lateral ventricles
