perilunate dislocation
- lunate remains aligned with radius
- capitate dislocates (usually posteriorly)
- more common than lunate dislocation
(radial-lunate ligaments stronger than lunate-capitate
ligaments)
- associated with scaphoid fractures (75%) = "transscaphoid perilunate
dislocation"
