- 90% idiopathic
- leading point: lymphoid tissue (possibly increased 2' to enteritis)
in older kids + adults (ileo- or colocolic)
- Meckel diverticulum
- Peyer's patches
- lymphoma
- large mesenteric nodes
- duplications
- polyps
"currant jelly" stools
"coiled spring" on BE
