bronchial adenoma

• most common benign lung tumor (but only 1/50 as common as Ca)

• malignant potential
• 75% resemble carcinoid tumor or "cylindroma"
• possibly benign form of oat-cell tumor

• hemoptysis
• bronchial obstruction ==> air-trapping
